Aftermarket headlight assembly buying checklist for fitment evidence

Resolve these open questions before an aftermarket headlight assembly factory quote request is sent. Budget and supplier preference stay buyer choices, not proof that Beambridge Sourcing operates a factory.

Buying Checklist decision points

How do we prove fitment evidence?

Require vehicle year/make/model, left/right side, OE reference for identification only, mounting interfaces and connector confirmation. An aftermarket headlight assembly photograph or matching outline does not replace application-specific confirmation. Ask which optics and market application designation the supplier attaches to the quoted unit.

Complete kit or individual housing?

Specify pieces with vehicle-position quantities. List whether lens, light source, ballast or LED driver, harness branches, bezels and brackets sit inside the packing unit. A kit price is not comparable with an individual housing until both bills of materials and mounting position are written on the offers. If minimum order quantity appears, keep it next to the packing unit.

How should budget and preference be recorded?

Optional currency and per-piece or order-total budget inform tradeoffs. Write USD or another currency explicitly. Premium, mid-range, economy or undecided are buyer choices about documentation depth and finish, not verified supplier ratings. A blank budget remains valid and does not authorize invented discounts.

Sample acceptance versus batch consistency?

Ask about sample approval identifiers, remaining vehicle fitment questions, beam documentation limits, destination ZIP code, Incoterms and warranty scope. Keep sample approval off the production-lot statement until batch traceability checks are agreed. A supplier declaration applies only to the named configuration; do not convert that file into a claim that every US state accepts the lamp.
