Ordered sourcing sequence

Custom headlight sourcing for lamp-body and beam documentation RFQs

Use this sequence when a custom headlight request needs coordinated supplier questions rather than a one-line catalog swap.

How we coordinate a custom headlight inquiry

Beambridge Sourcing coordinates requests; it is not the manufacturer. A custom headlight reply is useful only when lamp-body scope, included modules and beam documentation attach to the same vehicle application.

  1. Capture the lamp-body requirement

Buyer supplies vehicle year, make, model, left/right side, OE reference for identification only, connector family, whether bulb, ballast or LED driver is included, optics and market application designation, quantity and destination ZIP code. Unknowns stay open.

  2. Screen supplier questions

Ask about production scope for halogen, xenon, LED or adaptive builds, sample approval options, housing versus complete-assembly boundaries, and documents for that exact configuration rather than a company brochure.

  3. Align quote inclusions

Separate unit cost, packing unit, freight, taxes and service costs. Keep an empty housing line off a complete LED headlight assembly comparison. Do not treat a lower line as savings without matching inclusions.

  4. Record handoff checks

Record approved sample identifiers, remaining fitment questions, beam documentation limits, warranty scope and each party’s delivery responsibility. Minimum order quantity, if stated, belongs on that same sheet.

Use the headlight wiring harness quote review when a reply mixes harness-only SKUs with complete assemblies, then continue on the inquiry form.
